The
crime won us?
In Colombia the crimes
increase in some of the main cities of the country. Colombia is full of thefts,
scams, homicides, kidnappings, drugs trafficking and espionage to people. In
the country many people scape from their country, to come here in Colombia to
have a better quality life, but, whit this critical situation, the crime in is
generating a climate of insecurity in the country that authorities can hardly
fight.
What do we think about?
Many of the people,
especially those who are victims or witnesses of one of the types of crime,
think that thieves, drugs trafficking… are a consequence of a bad education in
school. Generally the cases of crimes are specially made by teenagers in
public’s schools, what gives us bad impression, and leads us to think badly
about them. But these cases are not only
given in public schools, they are also given in private schools. However old
people are also responsible of these crimes. ¨nothing or nobody is perfect¨.
What are we doing wrong?
IN most of the crimes made
by teenagers, their parents prefer to defend them, hide them, and pay for they
freedom, instead of letting them pay for their actions. In most of this cases the parents of the
teenagers, are most of the time out of the house, letting their sons or
daughters (teenagers) alone in the house, risking them to accidents, chemical
substances no up for humans, drugs… and to the disposition of the computers,
cellphones, tablets… and the danger one is the internet. Where the teenagers
can find inappropriate content for their age, and also make contact with unknown
people, who in many cases, they can hurt them, kidnap
them, or convince them to sell drug or theft people.
What does the police do?
In many occasions, the
people comment that the police is useless. This is because in
several cases, some police officers commit illicit acts or actions against the
good conduct. This is also because if a person thefts a chicken the police sentenced
him to 10 years in prison while if an offender makes a homicide he is sentenced
to house by jail. And as if that don’t
were enough the government raise them the salary. But with another point of
view, as I said before, the authorities can hardly fight this climate of
insecurity.
Possible solutions:
Ø Denounce
or report any suspicious movement of a person with the security of keeping a
safe distance.
Ø In
critical cases of robberies, drugs, shooting… make sure to run as fast you can,
find a refuge in a safe place where you can hide and denounce.
Ø Make
sure you carry your personal items distributed by all your pockets, because in
case of a theft it will be harder for the thief to find your personal belongings,
and easier for you to keep them.
In Conclusion:
Between 2016 and 2018 the crime
increases approximately 50% in all the country. With this blog we alert all the
population of the country especially parents and teenagers. Be cautious in
every movement or action you make. Remember your future is in danger. Safe it.¨
